Two women charged with criminal neglect after children found living in 'extreme squalor'
Christies Beach Magistrates Court in South Australia.
Two women have been charged with the criminal neglect of three children in Adelaide's south.
Police said the children were found dirty and living in extreme squalor with no food at a property in December last year.
Detectives deemed the home to be uninhabitable for the children, aged three, five and 14, who were immediately removed from care.
A 32-year-old woman and a 59-year-old woman from the home have been arrested and charged with three counts of criminal neglect and failing to provide appropriate food and accommodation.
Both women have been bailed to appear in the Christies Beach Magistrates Court on June 6.
