Coastal communities across southern NSW have seen up to 100mm of rain fall overnight, as authorities warn the threat of wild weather has not passed.
A severe weather warning remains in place for heavy rainfall, possible flash flooding and damaging winds across parts of the Illawarra and south coast, from Nowra to Batemans Bay.
It's due to a low-pressure trough which has formed off the NSW coast.

The NSW State Emergency Service (SES) has received 133 calls for help since the beginning of the event.
SES commander Nicole Hogan said volunteers would continue to be active in many parts of the state today.
"The threat from this weather system has not yet passed," she said.
"We are still seeing rain fall and while it will ease during the day, gale winds have been forecast for the Illawarra, Batemans and Eden Coastal areas."
Rainfall will ease into Monday as the low weakens and moves further offshore.
Before that, the region is being warned six-hourly rainfall totals between 80mm and 120mm are possible.
About 100mm of rain has already been recorded at Point Perpendicular, near Nowra.
While winds averaging 50-70 km/h with peak gusts of around 90 km/h possible along the coastal fringe, especially around Batemans Bay, Huskisson and Ulladulla.
The state duty commander warned residents to not drive, walk or ride through floodwaters.
"Localised flash flooding could result in roads being closed at short notice. Please do not take the risk and find an alternate route if you need to travel," Hogan said.
"Landslips are also possible, and I would urge the public to remain vigilant."
NSW SES Units in the Illawarra and South Coast region are ready to respond to calls for assistance.
The storm will also impact Queensland and Victoria, with wet weather also expected in South Australia.

New South Wales
Gale-force winds were expected along the south coast today with Illawarra Coast, Batemans Coast and Eden Coast also set for strong winds.
There is a strong wind warning for the Sydney coast.
The rain will ease by Monday before temperatures warm on Tuesday.
Victoria
The East Gippsland Coast has been issued a strong wind warning for today as rainfall is expected to continue over the area.
Morning fog is also expected in the northwest and western parts of Victoria.
The rain is expected to clear today with a dry and sunny day forecast everywhere besides the far southwest - which will experience isolated scattered storms.
South Australia
A high-pressure ridge will cause cold south and south-westerly winds in South Australia.
Cool and light winds will continue to blow through the state today.
Scattered showers are expected to continue through for the rest of the week.
Western Australia
It will be warm and sunny across most parts of the state today.
Perth is see a top of 23 degrees with a low of 6 degrees.
The BOM has issued a strong wind warning for the Gascoyne Coast.
Tasmania
Tasmania have had a mostly clear and sunny weekend, a sun expected for much of today.
Northern Territory
The Northern Territory can expect a small chance of showers in the Daly River Mouth and Wadeye regions.
