Man arrested after six hour siege in Sydney's south-west

A police siege in Sydney's south-west has ended after about six hours overnight.
Officers were called to a home in Prairiewood at about 11pm.
It's believed the call was in relation to a domestic violence incident.

At least 20 police officers were on the scene, including specialists, tactical officers, and negotiators, alongside ambulance paramedics.
Just before 5am, tactical officers kicked down the door of the home and arrested a 39-year-old man.
9News understands he was arrested peacefully, and that he does not live at the property.
A woman was also inside the home.
No injuries have yet been reported.
